Depending
on the year,the number of organized Oddfellow Lodges in Utah varied. Beginning with No.1 chartered in Salt Lake City in 1865,
and runing up to at least No.61 chartered in Spanish Fork sometime before 1924. (The exact year is unknown to me as of yet.)
Big cities and little towns would be home to this fraternity, some
building grand lodges that stand to this day, others renting space or building smaller facilities that have long since been
removed from the landscape. Though different in size and stature, they all shared the same goals; friendship, love and truth.
That was the moniker or mottow of the Oddfellow organization.
Below are
the known lodges in Utah in number order. I do not have documents for all of them, but the samples I do have will be shared
below.
