What remains
Only the dump, an old rusted tank, and a small compressor remain at this site atop the massive dump. The portal
is partly caved and What little bit of machinery is still present, is all clustered near the portal.
Sun
bleached boards lay about the top of the dump here and there, so too, the litter the side of the dump. Scattered remains of
the several buildings that once stood.
The turnoff to the Kennebeck site
is off the main canyon road. The old road to the mine is HEAVILY overgrown, and the hike is steep and bush-whacking is necessary.
