None Such Mine

The None Such mine was located about one mile above Modoc City and about one-half mile north of Flagstaff Hill in City Creek Canyon. (1)  (The exact location of Flagstaff Hill is not known at this time.)

Newspaper reports in August of 1873 indicated that the mine's ore "Runs high in silver, with a large percentage of Galena". The mine was owned by three individuals at the time of the article in 1873, they being Smith, Davis, and McMinn. (2)

Work continued on the property through the summer, and the vein they were chasing was reported to be widening as the shaft pushed deeper. (3)

No images of this mine are known.
