According to an article in the Salt Lake Daily Herald, the Hampton Mine was located near
the H & R Mine and the Tycoon Mine. The Hampton was showing some ore values in Galena, and was hoped to be a fine property
by the owners.
Like the Tycoon
and the H & R mines, the Hampton was owned by Houtz & Robinson. (1)
